No Mosques At Ground Zero
Dear Mr. Tierney:
I am writing to have this statement submitted in addition to the testimony I gave at the hearing on July 13th. Having three minutes to speak, while accommodating to others who wish to testify, does not allow for all of the information one possesses to get into the record. I appreciate having the opportunity to add this statement. |

The Real Free Lunch: Markets and Private Property. By Milton Friedman
At the moment, we in the United States have available to us, if we will take it, something that is about as close to a free lunch as you can have. After the fall of communism, everybody in the world agreed that socialism was a failure. Everybody in the world, more or less, agreed that capitalism was a success... |

Why aren’t there demonstrations against the enslavement of millions of women who live without any legal protection?
Why aren’t there demonstrations against the use of children as human bombs where there is conflict with Islam?

Flotilla of peace or Flotilla of provocation?
Think about this: suppose I set out to deliver 10,000 tons of cargo to Gaza, without any hidden agenda on my mind. As a shipper, I would naturally want to find the cheapest form of transportation. What would I do? I’d locate a decent boat at a relatively low cost, and as the plans progressed I would take notice of what's happening politically in the sector... |

No Entrance to Dogs and Jews
My name is Lior Zagury and I’m a very proud Israeli Jew.
Yes, it is important for me to present myself in this way, especially today when there is a feeling that there is a festival for anti-Semites.
I just came back yesterday from Poland after 8 days of having the privilege of guiding the Inter Disciplinary university students in the death camps. These students, studying in Israel were Jews, Christians and Muslims. |

Building Bridges
Let’s play pretend. Let’s pretend that you and I are neighbors, that we share a common fence in our backyards, and that we respect each other’s rights and privacy.
It’s been a hot, dry summer, and I like to spend the evenings sitting in my backyard listening to jazz... |
